Leinster Badminton are running their Novemberfest Tournament for all age groups (u11, u13, u15, u17, u19) on Nov 11th and 12th at Terenure Badminton Centre.

It’s a really good starter tournament for young players as no National or Provincial squad players are allowed (development squad players can enter).
Players can enter online here and entry closes tomorrow Tues, Nov 7th.

If you (Parent or Guardian) would like to learn badminton too, you might be interested in Wednesday evening sessions that I will be coaching at Castleknock Community College. There is a choice of times 7pm to 8.30pm or 8.30pm to 10pm. The sessions commence on Wednesday 27th September and last for 8 weeks. See below for details.

Summer Camp Updates.
Mark Topping is running two badminton summer camps in 2022 in the Terenure Badminton Centre, Whitehall Road, Dublin 12.
The camps are for participants aged six to seventeen years of age.
Camp Number 1 is from the 4th to the 8th of July 2022.
The camp runs from 10 am to 2pm each day Monday to Friday.
Badminton Ireland accredited coaches will be in attendance throughout the five days.
The cost of the camp is €140 per person.
Camp Number 2 is from Monday the 22nd to Friday the 26th of August 2022.
The camp runs from 10 am to 2pm Monday to Friday.
Cost is €140.

I would like to invite and provide notice of the AGM on Saturday 25th June at 7.15 at Coolmine.
Please note that Saturday 25th June is the final play this season and the plan for the evening is as follows:
The last two seasons we conducted the AGM via a Zoom meeting.
It will be great to resume personal meetings.
I will be issuing the papers for the AGM shortly, but in the meantime if you have any questions, please reach out to the committee.

Camps are aimed at club level players who would like to improve their badminton skills whilst having fun

Coaches:
David Walsh: Men’s Doubles Irish Senior National Champion 2019, trained full- time in Denmark at the European Centre of Excellence for 18 months. 2 bronze medals on the European elite circuit. Badminton World Federation Level 2 coach.
Sara Boyle: Women’s Singles Irish Senior National Champion 2020 and 2-time Women’s Doubles National Champion. Training full-time with the Irish national Team, having represented Ireland at The European Games and several European Championships. Badminton World Federation Level 1 coach.
