                                                             CUP   DRAW  

 ALL FINALS WILL BE PLAYED ON SATURDAY 29th April AT 11.A.M. IN

                         TERENURE  BADMINTON CENTRE (WHITEHALL RD.)

 

CUP FORMAT:   5 GAMES.   1 BOYS DOUBLES, 1 GIRLS DOUBLES, 3 MIXED DOUBLES.

                               THE BOY AND GIRL WHO DO NOT PLAY DOUBLES MUST PLAY FIRST

                               MIXED DOUBLES.   NO PLAYER MAY PLAY MORE THAN 1  MIXED

                               DOUBLES.  NO PLAYER MAY PLAY MORE THAN 2 GAMES.

 

USE ALTERNATE SHUTTLES FOR MATCH.                   (H) = HOME MATCH.

Bring your own feather shuttles to all matches including finals.

Badminton fun day – Sat 17 Dec 2016

This is the last session before Christmas.

No coaching, just fun games and a goodie bag at the end of the session to wish you well for the rest of the year.

 

In 2017, first CBC club night is Sat 14th January.

However, note that some teams have league matches on Sun 8th Jan at Coolmine.

CBC-3 Mixed Team

Please note that matches for CBC-3 Mixed team U15 are being rescheduled as follows:

  • Match against Terenure last Sunday 13th Nov was postponed. New date TBC
  • Away to Dunboyne on Saturday 19th Nov 2016 is to be rescheduled too. TBC
  • Home against DLR is now Sunday the 8th of January 2017 (instead of Nov 20th 2016)
  • Away to DLR is now Sat 28th Jan 2017 @ 4:30pm (instead of 10th Dec 2016)

Badminton Premier League, Terenure Badminton Centre on Friday 28th October

Leinster Badminton would be delighted if you could join us for this Season’s Launch & First Match Night in the Badminton Premier League. This Event is on in the Terenure Badminton Centre on Friday 28th October.

Proceedings will start at approx. 7.30pm in Courts 1 to 4 with the Premier Matches starting at 8.00pm. Refreshments, drink and food, will be on sale from Courts 5 & 6. There is no fee to this BPL Event.
The Match Fixtures on that night are:
Fixture 1 : Pembroke Panthers versus South Dublin Spartans – Courts 1 & 2
Fixture 2 : Ailesbury Falcons versus Mount Pleasant Mavericks – Courts 3 & 4

Just a quick reminder….
Entries for the Dublin Juvenile Open close this weekend.
Please can you remind your members about the tournament and encourage as many as possible to enter. With the league season just starting, it would be a good opportunity for them to get good practise against players from other clubs.
