I will be running badminton coaching sessions from 6-8pm every Wednesday evening over
July and August. Each player will receive 1 hour of coaching plus 1 hour of match play. The
Cost will be 10 euro per session and you can pay upon arrival for each session. The price of
the hall is quite expensive hence why my overall pricing must go up to allow for this. You

I would like feedback from parents on whether your kids would be interested in this regular
coaching. If so please make sure you contact me so I can work out if this will be viable going
forward.
I’m an international Badminton player who has represented Ireland at numerous
international events around the world including European Team Championships. Highlights
of my career so far include:
 Irish Senior singles/Doubles Champion in 2012.
 I reached No.8 in the Worlds Juniors U19 rankings.
 I reached last 16 in the World Juniors U19 Championships.
 Reached 1/4 finals of Swedish Open/ Italian open/ Irish open in Men’s doubles.
 Irish Future Series Men’s doubles Champion.

Dear All,

Reminder for the upcoming Irish Para-Badminton International Championships taking place in the National Indoor Arena next week. Play starts on Thursday and finishes up with the finals on Sunday.

Don’t miss your opportunity to see up to 140 of the world’s top Para-Badminton players, from 27 different nations, face off with one another over the course of the event.

The camp is on 10am-2pm In Baldoyle Badminton Centre every day. Each child must bring a packed lunch.

The cost of the Camp will be 100 euro per child for the 4 day camp.

May 2017:

For the remaining Saturdays in May (20th and 27th), Badminton Ireland Coach Ger will continue to help with the coaching.

June 2017:

The first 3 Saturdays of June (3rd, 10th and 17th) will be open days.

Badminton sessions will be focused on playing  games/matches. There will be no coaching as such. During these sessions Non members are welcome to come along and try it out.

The last Saturday of June (24th) will be the last club day of the season and will be only for existing CBC members. That will be our traditional Adult and Child fun tournament.

CBC members:  bring along an adult (parent, guardian, …) to play with you in doubles. If no adult is available to come and play with you, no worries, we will find you someone on the day.

In case you have not heard……

The end of the 2016/17  Leinster Badminton Season is nearly upon us and on this Friday 5^th May in the Terenure Centre we are holding  a great “End of Season” Badminton Event. 

The Main Event is the Badminton Premier League Final  but there are lots of other Badminton activities and celebrations planned around this.

Outline Schedule of On–Court Activities

• 7.30pm : Celtic Challenge Leinster Team Display

• 8.00pm : An International Exhibition Match : Nhat Nguyen (Ireland) v Clément Lanfranchi (Switzerland)

• 8.30pm : THE BPL FINAL : KADCA Killers v South Dublin Spartans

Planned Activities Also Include

• Special Presentation to our Leinster U13 & U15 Celtic Challenge Teams

• An “END OF SEASON” BUMPER RAFFLE DRAW

• SPECIAL FREE RAFFLE for “SPECTATORS ON THE NIGHT ONLY”

• Drinks Promotion with POP-UP Bar on Court 4

• Food fare for the Lounge Upstairs
